Seesaw

At Sheffield School the staff prides themselves on ‘Learning in Partnership’ with families. One way we achieve this is through using an online app called Seesaw. Your classroom teacher will help you to get started.

Seesaw is a simple way for teachers and students to record and share what is happening in the classroom. Seesaw gives students a place to document their learning, be creative and learn how to use technology. Each student gets their own e-portfolio and will add things to it like photos, videos, drawings, work or notes. You will automatically be notified through the App of new posts.

Seesaw is private; you will only see posts created for your child and sometimes small groups. We also like to post whole class learning at times. In this case, all class families will be able to view and comment on the post.

We are required to have parental permission for your child/ren to use the Seesaw App. Permission will be sought by completing the Cyber Safety Agreement. Once we receive your permission form we will send instructions and passwords on how to download and sign up.
