PTA

Sheffield School has a very active Parent Teacher Association (PTA). It has a committee made up of parent/caregivers and  Board of Trustees representatives. Parent/caregivers are welcome to attend meetings and contribute in their own way.

The PTA co-ordinates fundraising and social activities, organises special interest meetings. It is a forum for parents/caregivers to receive information about school activities, offer opinions and to support the school.

The PTA is a great way to meet and get to know other parents/caregivers. We want to hear your ideas on how to improve your children’s school. You don’t have to attend every meeting to be a member nor will you be expected to take on a job, unless, of course, you want to.

We need helpers as well as organisers, ideas people as well as practical people, dads as well as mums. If you can’t attend meetings we also need “Friends of the PTA” to assist with sausage sizzles, discos and any other event requiring man power.

Friday Sausage Sizzle

Each Sheffield school family is expected to cook sausages once during the year. If you are unable to do your day please find someone else to do it for you. In the PTA shed there is a "Friday Sausage Sizzle" box with everything you need and instructions on the lid. Please return this to the top of the bbq after you have finished.  All funds raised benefits the students of Sheffield School.
